The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vidal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aldo sprawls well. Aldo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vidal gets slowly back to his feet.
We've been hearing reports that Vidal has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
