Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Rendulic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz swings for the body but Rendulic moves out of range.

Rendulic bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Diaz can't do much from the bottom here.
Diaz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rendulic on the ground.
Diaz tries to buck Rendulic off but Rendulic is having none of it.

Rendulic tries to score with some ground and pound. Diaz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rendulic cracks Diaz with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Rendulic lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Diaz down.

Rendulic has an Americana. Diaz didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rendulic is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rendulic hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
