Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wong Fei Hung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakuna Matata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hakuna Matata was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matata throws a poor cross that misses
and Fei Hung counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Matata fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Fei Hung is out of range.
Fei Hung throws a big counter combination but Matata scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Fei Hung avoids the body shot from Matata.
Matata tries to clinch there but Fei Hung circles away.
Matata misses with a left hand
and Fei Hung counters with a stiff right hand.
Matata thows a leg kick but Fei Hung checks it
and Fei Hung counters with a nice uppercut.
Matata lands a jab.
Fei Hung fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fei Hung misses with a body kick.
Matata throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fei Hung counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Matata throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fei Hung appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Fei Hung lands with a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Matata throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fei Hung cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fei Hung goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fei Hung lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

A low kick from Matata misses
and Fei Hung counters with a three punch combo that has Matata backing up. Matata nods at Fei Hung to acknowledge the strikes.
Matata pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
As Matata looks to move away, Fei Hung throws a big counter combo but Matata just gets out of the way.
Hakuna Matata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Matata does no damage.
Matata throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Fei Hung to counter with a crisp jab.

Matata is rocked!
Fei Hung dodges the punch combination from Matata.
Matata misses with a double jab
and Fei Hung finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Fei Hung connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Matata momentarily.
Matata will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Matata looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fei Hung is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Fei Hung looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Matata misses with a two punch combination.
Matata looks winded!
Fei Hung lets loose with a powerful body kick. Matata will feel that in the morning.
Jab, jab by Fei Hung - just one landing.
Matata is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Fei Hung moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wong Fei Hung!
