Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hennig looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Ali wriggles free and stands up.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hennig . Ali does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ali was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Ali fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ali fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hennig avoids it really well and circles away.
Hennig looks to throw the jab but Ali is out of range.
Hennig shoots and misses
and Ali counters with a left to the body.

Hennig shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hennig is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Hennig is working for a submission of some sort.

Hennig wants to pass the guard but Ali is defending well.

Hennig is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ali sees it coming and defends easily.

Hennig is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hennig is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Ali really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hennig . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hennig has gone for a leg lock! Ali slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hennig 's guard.

Hennig working for a triangle but Ali defends it easily.

Hennig is looking to cinch up a triangle. Ali throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hennig 's body to avoid the submission. Hennig has instead reached around Ali's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hennig arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
