The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Blade tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Adams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Blade tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Blade takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Adams throws a jab but it's blocked by Blade.
A decent looking cross lands there for Adams.
Blade has his takedown stuffed
enabling Adams to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Andrew Blade has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blade takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Adams lands a really nice looking cross but Blade seems unphased.

Blade is rocked!
Adams throws an uppercut from hell that sends Blade clean off his feet! He's out cold! Adams stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
