Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Fakuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Benjamin Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erick Fakuda!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fakuda shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Fakuda slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Snow has his hands on Fakuda's head, controlling the position.
Fakuda looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Snow is trying to keep Fakuda in close.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Snow is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fakuda is controlling him.

Fakuda shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Snow is trying to defend but Fakuda finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Fakuda closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Snow's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snow accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fakuda is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Snow is controlling him.
Snow is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Fakuda manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Snow on his heels. He'll look to pass Snow's guard now, I'm sure.

Fakuda shoots in and bounces Snow off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Snow wants to get back to his feet but Fakuda passes into half guard.

Snow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Snow makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Snow drives through and clinches with Fakuda against the cage.
Snow tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fakuda just stands there and leans against the cage.

Fakuda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fakuda feints and as Snow raises his hands in defense, Fakuda changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Erick Fakuda has got the better of the ground game so far.
Snow is trying to control the position but Fakuda postures up.
Snow utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Snow wants to stand and escape but Fakuda is having none of it.

Snow is trying to hold Fakuda in close to prevent damage but Fakuda has managed to pass into half guard.

Fakuda throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Snow works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Snow wants to stand but Fakuda is controlling the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Fakuda will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It looked like Snow was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fakuda throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Snow pushes Fakuda off looking to stand but Fakuda dives back in and keeps control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Fakuda connects with a leg kick. Snow looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Fakuda closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Snow did well to prevent Fakuda getting side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Snow doesn't manage to clinch there - Fakuda circles away.
Fakuda is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Snow with a body shot.
Fakuda ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snow moves away.

Fakuda closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Snow to the mat! Snow manages to get full guard.

Fakuda stands up and waves to Snow to follow him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Snow gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fakuda to score an easy takedown into full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Erick Fakuda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fakuda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
