The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wosiecki throws out a loose jab but Kurbanov uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kurbanov tries to bum rush Wosiecki with a series of wild strikes but Wosiecki uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wosiecki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kurbanov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wosiecki is really squeezing tight and eventually Kurbanov passes out! Wosiecki breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
