Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maksim Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Per Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrov comes to the cage accompanied by Jesper Kyd - Apocalypse. Mies has chosen Metallica- Enter Sandman as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Per Mies was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Per Mies!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies lands a left and a right that sends Petrov crashing to the canvas! Mies dives into mount looking to finish!
It looks like Maksim Petrov has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Petrov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Petrov is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mies controlling the position easily from mount.
Petrov throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Mies can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Petrov is looking to escape.
Petrov is looking to improve his position but Mies isn't that keen on the idea.
Mies trying to control but Petrov is having none of it.
Mies really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Petrov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mies tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Petrov is desperately trying to improve his position but Mies has a good base and remains in mount.
Mies controlling the pace for now.
Mies wants to control the pace but Petrov is squirming around nicely.
Mies prevents Petrov from getting the reversal.
Mies can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Petrov is looking to escape.
Despite being in the dominant position, Per Mies just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Petrov slips a jab and a cross from Mies.
A jab-cross combination lands for Mies and sends Petrov crashing to the mat! Mies follows him down to the mat - Petrov regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Petrov is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mies scores with a big shot! Petrov's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Petrov! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Per Mies!
