Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Karl De Groot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Solzhenitsyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Groot comes to the ring accompanied by London. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Sasha Solzhenitsyn!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solzhenitsyn misses with a hook. De Groot ducked under it nicely.
Solzhenitsyn scores with a nice body kick.
Good leg kick by De Groot there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A solid leg kick lands there for De Groot.
De Groot lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
De Groot tried to score with a low kick but Solzhenitsyn checks it.
A little jabbing left from Solzhenitsyn on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
De Groot fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Solzhenitsyn stuns De Groot with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Solzhenitsyn. That snapped De Groot's head back.
A nice leg kick lands there from Solzhenitsyn.
De Groot lands a nice looking body shot.
Solzhenitsyn avoids a kick to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
De Groot fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Solzhenitsyn.
Karl De Groot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Groot is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

De Groot stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Solzhenitsyn.
De Groot takes a body punch but keeps moving.
De Groot gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Solzhenitsyn scores a knockdown with a big right hand! De Groot beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
