Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Greg Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan has chosen Beast as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrew Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ward misses with a takedown
and Ryan counters with a stiff right hand.
Ward walks into a left hand.
Greg Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ward tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ryan defends well and Ward ends up having to push Ryan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Ward. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ryan cracks Ward with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ward shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ward takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ward has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Legion's PIT Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
Ward changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ryan tries to avoid it but Ward manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ryan to the ground. Ryan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ward. That's going to slow Ryan down.
Ward takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ryan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ward tries to counter with a takedown but Ryan is quick to defend against it.
Ward changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ryan tries to avoid it but Ward manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ryan to the ground. Ryan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A slow jab from Ryan misses its intended target.
Ryan scores with a jab to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nice defenses there by Ward.

Ryan is looking to slow Ward down with leg kicks.

Ward closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ryan to the mat! Ryan manages to get full guard.
Ward postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ryan keeping moving, preventing Ward from controlling successfully.
Ryan pushes Ward off and scrambles back to his feet.
Ward shoots in looking for a takedown. Ryan tries to sprawl out of it but Ward keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ryan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ryan throws out a counter right but Ward avoids it with no problem.

and Ryan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Ryan throws a head kick but Ward moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ryan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ryan wants it to stay on the feet.
Ward closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ryan circles away.
Ryan scores with a nice head shot.
A swing and a miss from Ryan.
Ryan throws out a loose jab but Ward uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ward looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ryan is fending him off so far but Ward persists. Nope, Ryan circles away and we're back to standing.
Ryan flicks out a counter leg kick but Ward steps away.

Ryan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ward fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ward shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ryan defends it nicely.
Andrew Ryan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ryan throws a monster overhand right that drops Ward! Ryan follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
