Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mack Ua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pit Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mies has chosen Condemned 84 - Face the agression as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mack Ua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pit Mies!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ua circles away.
As Mies tries to get set, Ua tries to push him back and clinch up but Mies manages to avoid the attempt.
Mies should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mies shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ua as he avoids it easily.
Ua is looking to counter the offense by Mies and move into the clinch.
Mies shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ua pinned against the cage. Ua gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ua has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Los Angeles in the buildup to the fight.
Mack Ua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pit Mies.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ua clinches with his opponent.

Ua lands with a short shot to the head.

Ua is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mies can't fight it off and eventually Ua manages to take the fight to the floor. Mies looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ua has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ua chips away with some ground and pound.

Mies is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ua postures up and lands a big shot to Mies's brow.
Mies utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Ua knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mies on the ground.
Ua is stalling in the full guard.

Ua avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mies is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ua is aware though and is defending well.
Ua content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Ua makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Mies is rocked!
Mies wants to sweep here but Ua controlling him for the moment.
Mies is still in real trouble! Can Ua finish him?
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ua's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Ua arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Mies's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mack Ua!
Pit Mies was interviewed post fight and said 'I will be back stronger!'.
