Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deait Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralf Peter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ralf Peter will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Deait Shaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ralf Peter!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Peter with that takedown attempt.
Shaw quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Shaw looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Peter clinches up against the cage.

Peter has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Shaw uses from the top position.

Peter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shaw gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Peter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Peter postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Shaw is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Peter, into his guard.

Shaw's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Peter doesn't manage to clinch there - Shaw circles away.

Peter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shaw was covering up waiting for the punch and Peter finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Shaw shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Peter is trying to defend but Shaw finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Peter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shaw can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

I've got Peter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
