Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Macadam Baird!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aznar Thrul!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baird avoids a kick to the body.
Thrul throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Baird counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Baird connects with a couple of short punches.
Baird slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Baird throwing strikes from guard but Thrul blocks nicely.
Thrul looking to hit a scissor sweep but Baird is one step ahead there.
Baird trying to control but Thrul is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baird is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Baird looking to pass the guard.
Thrul is looking to sweep but instead, Baird has passed into half guard.
Baird thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Thrul's head.
Thrul is refusing to be controlled, as Baird sits in half guard.
Baird controlling the action here.
Thrul is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Thrul is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Baird's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Baird's back!
Thrul keeps control of the position as Baird tries to break free.
Thrul lands punches and elbows.
Baird breaks Thrul's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thrul is looking to cinch up a triangle. Baird throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Thrul's body to avoid the submission. Thrul has instead reached around Baird's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Thrul arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Aznar Thrul!
A very excited looking Aznar Thrul rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
