Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jarrett Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denisas Bogdanas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bogdanas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. nirvana kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogdanas throws a head kick but Steele moves out of range.
Bogdanas closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Steele's guard.
Steele has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Bogdanas has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Steele breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Steele connects with a nice short shot to Bogdanas's temple.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jarrett Steele.
I think Bogdanas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
