Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oleg Kravichenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alessandro Rocco!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocco darts in and clinches Kravichenko up against the cage.
Rocco wants a takedown but no success here.
Kravichenko controlling the action here for a moment.
Kravichenko stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Rocco lands a right hand.
Kravichenko tries to throw a body punch but Rocco avoids it by throwing Kravichenko back against the cage.
Rocco fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rocco breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rocco tries to clinch up but Kravichenko circles away and keeps his distance.
Rocco misses with a low kick as Kravichenko jumps back.
We've been told by Kravichenko's head coaches at Netherlands Top Team & KT that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Rocco fails to land the takedown.
Oleg Kravichenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alessandro Rocco.
Rocco moves away from the strike by Kravichenko.
Rocco misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kravichenko looks to land a right hand but Rocco moved out of range.
Kravichenko scores with a hook to the body. Rocco takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kravichenko keeps the fight on the outside.
Rocco throws a right hand that Kravichenko ducks under and follows up with a left that Kravichenko also avoids with ease.
Kravichenko scores with the left hand. Rocco knows he should have avoided that one.
Kravichenko punishes Rocco's body with a nice straight punch.
The fighters circling - Kravichenko throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rocco takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kravichenko throws a hook but Rocco avoids it easily.
Rocco is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Rocco moves into the clinch.
Rocco tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rocco prevents Kravichenko from breaking the clinch.
Kravichenko changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rocco fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rocco takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rocco takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kravichenko throws a one two combo.
Rocco walks into a left hand.
Kravichenko lands a nice looking body shot.
Kravichenko scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Rocco on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Rocco is rocked!
Rocco shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rocco is still on wobbly legs! Can Kravichenko finish him?
Rocco walks straight into a right hand from Kravichenko - that's dropped him! Kravichenko jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rocco from any more punishment! Rocco complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Oleg Kravichenko!
