Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaladin Darkeyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Lodano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lodano closes the distance and clinches.
Darkeyes goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Lodano has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Darkeyes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lodano shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Darkeyes as he jumps to the side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lodano lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Darkeyes on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Darkeyes tries to clinch up but Lodano circles away and keeps his distance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kaladin Darkeyes will probably get the nod.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Darkeyes here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Kaladin Darkeyes tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
