Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Chappie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Crux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rob Chappie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Victor Crux!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chappie misses with an attempted mid kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Chappie.
Chappie throws a head kick that misses.
Chappie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chappie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Crux shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Chappie eats them both and turns towards Crux to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Rob Chappie has been cut.
Chappie takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Crux tests Chappie's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Chappie fails with a takedown attempt.
Chappie fails in his attempt to clinch.

Crux clinches with his opponent.
Chappie jumps guard but Crux turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Crux wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chappie has him pressed against the cage.

Chappie manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chappie is defended easily by Crux.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Chappie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Crux tries a head kick but it misses.
Crux misses with a takedown attempt - Chappie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Crux swats away the attempt to clinch by Chappie.
Crux wants to counter the offense by Chappie and move into the clinch position.

Chappie gets a clinch.
Chappie goes for a takedown attempt but Crux pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Crux thuds his right hand into Chappie's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Chappie avoids the head kick by Crux.
Crux scores with a crisp jab that stopped Chappie in his tracks.

Crux rushes Chappie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Crux tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chappie's elbow.

Chappie wants to take the fight to the mat but Crux manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Chappie slows down the pace here.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Chappie gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Chappie tries to pull guard but Crux forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Chappie pulls guard.
Crux is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Crux has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Crux slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Crux forces his way into half guard.
Crux is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chappie throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Chappie keeping hold of Crux's head, controlling as best he can.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Victor Crux dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rob Chappie's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Crux gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Chappie engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Chappie lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Chappie in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chappie tries to free his leg and advance position but Crux is retaining full guard.
Crux is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Crux really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chappie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Victor Crux seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Crux tries to clinch but Chappie is having none of it.
Crux throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chappie's waist but Chappie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Crux off to one side.
Crux throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Chappie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crux avoids it really well and circles away.
Crux throws a push kick but Chappie slaps the foot to one side.

Chappie rushes Crux and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Chappie has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Crux after a bit of a struggle.
Crux wants to break free but Chappie has control.
Crux tries a body shot but Chappie blocks it.
Chappie has had enough of the clinch but Crux keeps him there for the moment.
Crux is trying to break the clinch but Chappie is controlling him.
Chappie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Crux to keep the fight standing.

Crux lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Chappie or not.

Chappie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Crux throws a head kick that misses.
Crux jabs Chappie to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Crux pushes Chappie up against the cage in a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Crux prevents a body shot from Chappie.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Crux wants to get back to striking at distance but Chappie won't allow it.

Chappie misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Crux.
Stalling in the clinch from Chappie.
Chappie tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Crux avoids it.
Chappie trying to control the position but instead, Crux has worked for underhooks and has pushed Chappie into the cage.

Chappie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Crux will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chappie went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Crux misses with a two punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rob Chappie will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Crux tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chappie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crux somewhat.

Crux closes the distance and clinches.
Crux lands a hook that snaps the head of Chappie backwards.

Crux breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Crux fails with a takedown attempt.
Chappie appears to be looking for a big counter.

Crux lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Chappie at a distance.
Crux throws a head kick that misses.

Crux takes the fight into the clinch.

Victor Crux seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Chappie tries a knee to the head but Crux blocks it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chappie wants to take the fight to the mat but Crux manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Victor Crux comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Crux has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
