Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerbert Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Pintos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gerbert Bryant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, El Pintos!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pintos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bryant.
It seemed like Pintos was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Pintos misses with a straight left.
Pintos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bryant finds it's way round the side to connect with Pintos's head.
Pintos defending well as Bryant loads up on a big left hand.
Bryant moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromPintos.
Nice straight punches there by Bryant. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bryant.
Bryant moves forwards but Pintos connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pintos rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bryant counters with a stiff right hand.

Bryant feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pintos, as that shot connected.

and Bryant counters with a straight right hand.
Bryant lands a nice looking body shot.
Bryant throws a lazy right hand but Pintos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Bryant counters with a nice uppercut.
Bryant digs a good body shot into Pintos's ribs.

Bryant paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

El Pintos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bryant lands a nice shot to the body.
Pintos takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bryant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pintos circles away quickly and effectively.
Bryant throws a shot from downtown. Pintos moves away and avoids it.
It seemed like Pintos was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Bryant misses with an uppercut. Pintos saw that one coming.

and Pintos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bryant is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

It looks like Gerbert Bryant has been cut.
Bryant is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pintos can do to turn this around?

Bryant changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pintos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bryant connects with a nice short shot to Pintos's temple.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Horrible takedown attempt by Bryant or perhaps it was just good defense by Pintos, which made it look bad.

Pintos swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Bryant looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pintos is fending him off so far but Bryant persists. Nope, Pintos circles away and we're back to standing.
Pintos looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Bryant shoots in for a takedown but Pintos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gerbert Bryant. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bryant throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pintos was covering up waiting for the punch and Bryant finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pintos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bryant has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Bryant bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pintos's head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Gerbert Bryant showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bryant has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
