Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Octavio Clayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge Rodriguez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Clayton enables Rodriguez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Clayton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Clayton wants to sweep here but Rodriguez controlling him for the moment.
Rodriguez lands a couple of digs.

Clayton is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rodriguez defends well.
Clayton wants to hit a switch here but Rodriguez passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Clayton there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rodriguez controlling the position easily from mount.
Clayton really is a fat lump.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clayton is working to get back to half guard.

It looks like Octavio Clayton has been cut.
Rodriguez cracks Clayton with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
