Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amadeus Mozart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dada Altamont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Altamont tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mozart manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mozart throws the left hand but Altamont avoids the punch easily.
Altamont raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Altamont uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mozart.
A jab from Mozart misses.

Altamont forces Mozart back against the cage and clinches.
Mozart jumps guard but Altamont stands there with Mozart around his waist. Mozart gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Altamont with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Altamont throws a knee to the head but misses.
Mozart takes a knee to the side of the body.
Altamont tries a knee to the head but Mozart blocks it.
Altamont blocks an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Altamont throws a knee to the head but misses.
Mozart misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mozart struggles to land a body shot inside as Altamont controls his hands.

Altamont escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Altamont moves in looking to clinch but Mozart pushes him off.

Altamont closes the distance and clinches.

Altamont breaks from the clinch.

Altamont forces Mozart back against the cage and clinches.
Altamont lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Altamont lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mozart or not.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Mozart.
Mozart lands a body punch.

Altamont breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Altamont plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Some wild striking there from Mozart.
Altamont throws a sloppy head kick and Mozart moves out of range easily.

Mozart instigates a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Altamont.
Altamont throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mozart blocks it with crossed arms.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Altamont blocks an uppercut.
Mozart fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mozart tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Altamont creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Mozart misses with a hook to the ribs.

Altamont escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Altamont lands a leg kick that knocks Mozart off balance momentarily.
Mozart just misses with a punch to the body.
Amadeus Mozart is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mozart keeps the fight on the outside.
Altamont tries for a takedown but Mozart sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Mozart on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Altamont tries a head kick but it misses.
Altamont wants to clinch up but Mozart keeps it at a distance.
A quick step to the side and Mozart tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Altamont blocks a leg kick.
Dada Altamont seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mozart feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Altamonts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Altamont throws a sloppy head kick and Mozart moves out of range easily.
A thudding body kick lands there by Mozart!
Altamont bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Altamont is looking to clinch.
Mozart connects with a right hand. Altamont shakes it off.

Altamont closes the distance and clinches.
Altamont lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Altamont breaks the clinch.

Altamont fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mozart to the ground. Altamont is now in Mozart's guard.
Altamont with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Altamont avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've been informed that Altamont has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Altamont looking to improve position, pressing down on Mozart's thigh with his hand. Mozart seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Altamont paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Altamont's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Mozart picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
