Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Moses Stepp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Avila Alvarez!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stepp throws a right and a left that Alvarez avoids nicely.

Alvarez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Stepp is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Stepp sneaks back into half guard.
Stepp has his hands clasped together around Alvarez's back. He's all about the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Alvarez lands a nice short elbow.
Alvarez throwing shots but Stepp is blocking nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stepp gets full guard.
Stepp working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Alvarez.
Alvarez stops Stepp from standing up.
Stepp throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Stepp wants to get back to his feet but Alvarez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Stepp thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Stepp manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Stepp pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Alvarez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stepp to the mat! Stepp manages to get full guard.
Stepp is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Alvarez is controlling him.
Alvarez throwing strikes but missing.
Stepp wants to stand but Alvarez is controlling the position.
Stepp is trying to control the position but Alvarez postures up.
Alvarez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stepp works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Alvarez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Alvarez cracks Stepp with a solid left hand.
Alvarez stopping the sweep attempt from Stepp.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stepp is on top in guard.

Alvarez looks winded!

Stepp is in close to Alvarez's body, working some short punches and elbows.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Alvarez wants to stand and escape but Stepp is having none of it.
Stepp content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Stepp scoring with punches to the head and body.
Stepp wants to pass the guard but Alvarez is keeping the position.
Alvarez has momentary wrist control but Stepp slips an elbow through the middle.
Stepp is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Stepp postures up and lands a big shot to Alvarez's brow.
Alvarez wants to stand up but Stepp is controlling him.
Stepp landing some decent shots from guard.
Stepp cracks Alvarez with a solid left hand.

Stepp lands a couple of elbows.
Stepp postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Alvarez is rocked!
Stepp arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Alvarez's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
