The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fankulewski throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Izen.

It looks like Wayne Izen has been cut.
Fankulewski wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Izen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fankulewski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Izen somewhat.

Fankulewski shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Fankulewski working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Izen wants to control but Fankulewski is keeping busy.
