Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jude Curtis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter William will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from William. Those never looked like landing.
William tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Curtis paws at him with a jab and circles away.

William closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Curtis quickly recovers to half guard.

Curtis makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
William throws a right and a left that Curtis avoids nicely.
Curtis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before William can pounce on him.

William fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Curtis to the ground. William is now in Curtis's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
William seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Curtis has a closed guard, preventing William from standing up.

William throws an elbow that misses. Curtis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in William's guard. Nice move by Curtis!

William really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Curtis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Curtis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Curtis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

William is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Curtis scores with a couple of nice shots.

Curtis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Curtis is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! William is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
