The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howell throws a right and a left that both miss.
Antolovic takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Antolovic misses with a head kick.
Howell avoids a kick to the body.
Howell with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A swing and a miss from Antolovic.
Howell moves out of range as Antolovic strikes.
Howell staying out of range there.
Antolovic throws a head kick that misses.
Antolovic walks into a stiff left hand from Howell.
Howell takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Howell fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Antolovic on the side of the head.
Howell lands with an uppercut that bounces Antolovic off the cage and back into range.
Howell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick misses from Antolovic.
Howell's corner calls for a 1-2. Howell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Howell has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Antolovic, right into the meat.

A slow jab from Antolovic misses its intended target.

A swing and a miss from Antolovic.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Howell! But no joy.
Howell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Antolovic throws a hook but Howell avoids it easily.

Howell is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Antolovic scores with a hook to the body. Howell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Howell counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Antolovic is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Howell's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Howell lands with a straight right. Antolovic didn't see that one coming.
Antolovic walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Howell scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Antolovic is rocked!

and Howell counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Antolovic! He's just covering up as Howell starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

After winning the bout, Josh Howell thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
