The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black moves out of range of the leg kick from Jackson.

Black throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Black's coach down at Barbell Brigade was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Black's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Black slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.
Black throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jackson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jackson throws a body shot but no joy.
Black tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jackson throws a big counter combination but Black scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jackson is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackson throws out a loose jab but Black uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tobias Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jackson just misses with a punch to the body.
And Black tries to counter it with a takedown but Jackson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Black keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Jackson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Black was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.
Black throws a looping overhand right but Jackson ducks down to avoid it.

Jackson throws a hook but Black avoids it easily.
Black comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Black, right into the meat.
Jackson drops his hands momentarily and Black needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Jackson just on the top of the head. Jackson drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Jackson - he's done!

Tobias Black was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
