Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dmx Intro kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jimi Aldo had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Jones!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Aldo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jones keeps control of the position as Aldo tries to break free.
Jones doesn't have the hooks in and Aldo manages to turn into his guard.

Aldo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Aldo has Jones in his guard.

Aldo has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aldo is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Jones has latched onto it... Big trouble! Jones pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Aldo is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Jones!

An out of breath Jack Jones thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
The defeated Jimi Aldo had this to say: 'Props to him for winning, I just couldn't do what I set out to do.'.
