Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Victor Zsasz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zsasz comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac: When We Ride ft. Outlawz. Lopez has chosen Hurriganes - Get On as his entrance music. Pedro Lopez acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Zsasz misses its intended target.
Lopez walks into a stiff left hand from Zsasz.
Zsasz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Victor Zsasz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zsasz misses with a low kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Zsasz.
Zsasz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Lopez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Lopez seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Zsasz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lopez.
That kick from Zsasz tenderised Lopez's leg. Lopez is trying to keep his angry face on.
Zsasz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Zsasz connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lopez throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Zsasz jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Zsasz scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lopez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zsasz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Zsasz lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lopez will feel that in the morning.

and Lopez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Zsasz throws a solid leg kick but Lopez takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Zsasz.

Zsasz looks to throw the jab but Lopez is out of range.

and Lopez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Zsasz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lopez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zsasz.

Lopez won't allow Zsasz to get back to his feet.

Lopez wants to control from the top but Zsasz keeps moving.
Lopez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zsasz haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Lopez has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lopez there as he acknowledges the shot.

Lopez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zsasz, pushing him back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Zsasz.
Zsasz struggles to land a body shot inside as Lopez controls his hands.
Zsasz misses with a knee to the head.

Zsasz manages to break the clinch.
Lopez lands a really nice looking cross but Zsasz seems unphased.

Zsasz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lopez.

Lopez throws a looping overhand right but Zsasz ducks down to avoid it.
Zsasz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lopez misses with an uppercut. Zsasz saw that one coming.

Zsasz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lopez. That did some damage!
Lopez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Zsasz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Zsasz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lopez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zsasz chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Zsasz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lopez.
Lopez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lopez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Zsasz scoring well with a low kick there.
Lopez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Lopez misses with a takedown attempt - Zsasz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lopez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lopez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lopez goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Zsasz rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lopez's guard! Nice work there by Zsasz!

Zsasz wants to pass the guard but Lopez is keeping the position.

Lopez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zsasz is aware though and is defending well.

Lopez looking for a guillotine here but Zsasz defends easily.
Lopez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zsasz's guard.

Lopez passes into half guard.
