Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Georges Batroc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manolito Damhuis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Georges Batroc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Manolito Damhuis!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batroc tries to work over Damhuis's front leg with a kick but Damhuis checks it.
Batroc doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Damhuis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Damhuis lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Batroc stuffs the takedown attempt from Damhuis. Damhuis gets slowly back to his feet.
Batroc connects with a high kick.

It looks like Manolito Damhuis has been cut.
Batroc throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Damhuis throws a head kick but Batroc moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Batroc looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Damhuis wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Batroc has him pressed against the cage.

Batroc lands with an uppercut that bounces Damhuis off the cage and back into range.
Damhuis cracks Batroc with a right hand to the side of the head.
Good leg kick by Batroc there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Damhuis lands a nice looking kick to the body. Batroc takes a step back to recover.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Batroc swings wildly with an uppercut but Damhuis uses good head movement to avoid it.

A short body shot lands from Damhuis as the two fighters clinch.

Damhuis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Damhuis tries to break free but Batroc pushes him back against the cage.

Batroc keeps control of Damhuis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Batroc works on Damhuis's body with a couple of short punches.

Damhuis breaks the clinch.
No joy there for Batroc, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Damhuis feints and as Batroc raises his hands in defense, Damhuis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Damhuis postures up and lands a big shot to Batroc's brow.

That was a close round but I would say that Georges Batroc will probably get the nod.

The crowd cheers as Batroc lands an impressive looking overhand right. Damhuis doesn't seem phased though.

Damhuis fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Damhuis swats away the attempt to clinch by Batroc.
Batroc tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Batroc motions for Damhuis to come forward. Batroc throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Batroc lands a glancing blow to the side of Damhuis's head.
Damhuis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Batroc as he avoids it easily.

Damhuis will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Batroc takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Damhuis circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Batroc to the canvas! Batroc doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Damhuis keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
