Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dario Cop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane's entrance music is Creep. A fine choice. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, John McClane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dario Cop!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cop thows a leg kick but McClane checks it
letting McClane counter with a right hand.
Cop steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McClane.
McClane lands with a shot to the body.
Cop swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cop doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cop misses with a few strikes there.
Cop swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cop misses with a jab, cross combination.
McClane scores with a jab to the head.

Cop gets a clinch.
Cop misses with a hook from the clinch.
McClane lands a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cop stops a takedown attempt from McClane.
Cop fails to pull guard.
McClane tries for a takedown but Cop manages to get underhooks.
Cop tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
McClane throws a head punch that misses.

McClane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McClane fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cop on the side of the head.
McClane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cop has time to react.
McClane lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cop at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cop fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McClane lands the left hand.
McClane moves into range and connects with a jab.
McClane seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cop looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cop walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.


Cop is rocked!


It looks like Dario Cop has been cut.
McClane lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Cop is still on wobbly legs! Can McClane finish him?
Cop looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cop looks winded!
McClane circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Cop to the canvas! Cop doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - McClane keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John McClane!
