Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabien Duprus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ston Hardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duprus shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hardson kicks Duprus off and gets back to his feet.
Hardson instigates a clinch.
Hardson tries a body shot but Duprus blocks it.
Duprus utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Hardson blocks an uppercut.
Hardson wants to break free but Duprus has control.
Hardson gets through Duprus's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Duprus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hardson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hardson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Duprus. Duprus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hardson lands a slapping body shot.
Hardson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Duprus's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Duprus.
Hardson jumps guard and drags Duprus to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Hardson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hardson works over Duprus with some ground and pound from guard.

Duprus is looking to stand up but Hardson isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Duprus thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Duprus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hardson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hardson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Let's hope that Hardson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
