Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maro Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Sane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: More Human Than Human by White Zombie. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Santos.
Santos fails to land the takedown.

Sane shoots in but Santos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Santos gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Santos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sane gets caught flat footed, as Santos shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Santos had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sane is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Santos Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sane's back instead.
