Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg The Phenom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in The Phenom's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davis shoots for a takedown but The Phenom saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Davis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The Phenom looks to land a combination but Davis avoids it well.
Davis looks to score with a jab to the body but The Phenom is just out of range.

Davis is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, The Phenom has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Davis goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now The Phenom is on top in guard.

The Phenom wants to stand but Davis is controlling his posture from full guard.

Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Phenom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Phenom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Davis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Davis is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But The Phenom has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from The Phenom!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Davis thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The Phenom has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The Phenom throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis.
The Phenom looks to land a left hand but Davis moved out of range nicely.

The Phenom moves into the clinch successfully.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Davis. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Davis closes the distance and clinches up with The Phenom, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes The Phenom against the cage but The Phenom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Davis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed The Phenom's head.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Davis in particular looking to stall.
The Phenom wants to get back to his feet.

Davis is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Davis is looking to work his way around to The Phenom's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The Phenom instigates a clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Davis is trying to break the clinch but The Phenom has him pressed against the cage.

Davis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Phenom was well out of range. Poor timing from Davis.
Davis lands with a straight right. The Phenom didn't see that one coming.

The Phenom unloads a knee to the mid-section. Davis lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Davis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Greg The Phenom has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Davis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as The Phenom walks away with a smile on his face. Davis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The Phenom has taken the fight to the clinch.

The Phenom breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Davis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Davis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Davis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mickey Davis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Davis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with The Phenom but The Phenom pushes him off and we're back to square one.
