Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alfonso Toch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Beard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toch comes into the arena with Forever blaring out of the sound system. Alfonso Toch is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Toch clinches.

Toch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Beard tries to clinch

and Toch moves into the clinch.
Beard is looking to break free of the clinch but Toch has double underhooks.
Toch lands a body shot.
Toch scores with a hook to the body.
Toch lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Beard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Toch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Toch looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Toch has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Beard is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Beard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Beard looks to land a right hand but Toch moved out of range.
Toch takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Beard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Red Beard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Toch uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Beard.

Toch throws and elbow that misses. Beard uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Toch's guard. Nice move by Beard!
Beard would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Toch wants to stand and escape but Beard is having none of it.
Beard must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alfonso Toch will probably get the nod.

Beard tries to close the distance and clinch but Toch swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Red Beard seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Toch circles away from the clinch attempt.
Alfonso Toch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Beard connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Toch tumbling to the canvas! Beard pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Toch was done - good stoppage!
