Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Mcintyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elliot Worsell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elliot Worsell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Mcintyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Elliot Worsell!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Worsell or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcintyre, which made it look bad.

Mcintyre has closed the distance and engaged Worsell in a clinch.

Mcintyre jumps into guard, dragging Worsell to the mat.
Worsell with a flurry of punches that miss.
Worsell looking to sit in guard and control but Mcintyre gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Worsell wants to stand and escape but Mcintyre is having none of it.

Worsell throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mcintyre uses it to pass to side control.

Worsell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcintyre. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Worsell wants to free his trapped foot but Mcintyre is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Worsell is looking to take a break and control but Mcintyre is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Worsell stalling away here and it's allowed Mcintyre to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Worsell wanted to stand there but Mcintyre had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Worsell isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mcintyre stacks Worsell on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mcintyre!

Mcintyre has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mcintyre lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
BOOM! Mcintyre connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Worsell is trying to escape the mount.
Mcintyre is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Worsell can do to turn this around?
Mcintyre lands a big shot there that rocks Worsell but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Mcintyre lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Worsell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mcintyre.
Worsell dives in for a single leg takedown but Mcintyre sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Worsell thows a huge punch but Mcintyre dodges it nicely.

Mcintyre is trying to stand up here but Worsell is controlling him well.
Worsell takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Worsell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mcintyre lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mcintyre lands a nice short elbow.
Worsell has hold of Mcintyre's hands but Mcintyre slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mcintyre thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Worsell's head.

Worsell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Worsell is pulling down on Mcintyre's head. It's preventing any offense from Mcintyre, at least for the moment.
Worsell looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mcintyre postures up and lands a big shot to Worsell's brow.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Mcintyre is working Worsell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
