The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shelton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Shelton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kinney does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Shelton gets tackled into the cage by Kinney. Kinney maintains the clinch.

Shelton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kinney gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kinney is working Shelton over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That was a close second round but I would say that Donn Kinney will probably get the nod.

Kinney fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shelton, pushing him back against the cage.

Shelton is trying to trip Kinney. He has hold of a leg but Kinney is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Shelton persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Shelton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kinney swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brandon Shelton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Shelton has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
