Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xi Lim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yahweh Falwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Falwell's choice of entrance music: Don't Stop Believing. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Xi Lim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 69 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yahweh Falwell!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lim drives through and clinches with Falwell against the cage.
Falwell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lim will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Falwell up against the cage.
Falwell tries to pull guard but Lim won't allow it.

Lim breaks the clinch.
Falwell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Falwell throws a sloppy head kick and Lim moves out of range easily.

Lim shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Falwell napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lim advances nicely into full mount.
Falwell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lim has hold of Falwell's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Falwell manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Poor strikes thrown by Lim there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

You get the feeling that Falwell really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Lim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lim sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Lim stands up from mount. Strange move.

Lim changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Falwell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Falwell parries the strikes from Lim easily there. Lim is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Falwell to escape.
Lim postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Lim decides to stand back up.

Lim forces Falwell back against the cage and clinches.
Lim unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Falwell! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Lim is unloading with more strikes now! Falwell drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xi Lim!
In defeat, Yahweh Falwell stepped up to the mic, saying 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I rolled more instead of praying, I might have learned to defend submissions. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.
