Rees comes to the cage accompanied by Frontlines. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sterling Milner!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milner swats away the attempt to clinch by Rees.
Milner misses with a wild combination.
No joy there for Milner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch combination from Milner misses.
Rees tries to clinch but Milner is having none of it.
Rees tries a head kick but it misses.
Milner swinging wilding here.
A combination from Milner does no damage.
Rees is looking to clinch but Milner is avoiding it.
Some wild striking there from Milner.
Milner throws a combination. Rees tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Milner swats away the attempt to clinch by Rees.

Rees tries to keep at a distance but Milner has taken the fight into the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Rees.
Rees landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Rees pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rees is looking to clinch.
Milner with a nice cross.
Rees tries to clinch but Milner is having none of it.
Milner misses with a double jab.

Rees clinches up with Milner and pushes him back against the cage.

Rees breaks the clinch.

Milner has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rees taking a breather.
Rees trying to control the position but instead, Milner has worked for underhooks and has pushed Rees into the cage.
Milner wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rees has him pressed against the cage.
Rees wants a takedown but no success here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rees wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Rees decides to pull guard.
Rees tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rees trying to control the position.
Milner is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Rees is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Milner is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Milner must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Milner throwing strikes from guard but Rees blocks nicely.

Milner decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Milner lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rees is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Milner rushes Rees with punches - Rees moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Rees goes down! Milner follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
