Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samuel David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donie Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donie Chapman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Samuel David's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chapman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. David defends it nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from David is defended easily by Chapman.
Chapman counters with a body kick.

Chapman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

David is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

David lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

David gets control of Chapman's arms and successfully pulls guard. David will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
David is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chapman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

David has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Chapman has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
David tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

David is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Chapman is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Chapman flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. David anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Chapman and secures both hooks! This could be bad! David slips an arm under Chapman chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. David has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. David is squeezing on Chapman like an anaconda would it's prey. Chapman fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
