The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a low kick as Morris jumps back.
Morris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Morris persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.

As Jones tries to get set, Morris tries to push him back and clinch up but Jones manages to avoid the attempt.

Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Morris get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Morris misses with a double jab.
Jones thuds his right hand into Morris's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Morris tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes.
Morris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jones throws a low kick but Morris avoids it.

and Morris counters with a series of strikes. Jones will be more careful next time no doubt.
Morris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Morris off to one side.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Morris swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Morris swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morris half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Jones throws a right hand that Morris ducks under and follows up with a left that Morris also avoids with ease.
Jones throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Morris feinted with a counter takedown.

and Morris counters with a left and a right that stings Jones.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Morris is proving a slippery customer.

Jones looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Morris passes into side control.
Jones pushes Morris away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Morris gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Morris is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Morris tries for a kimura but Jones is defending well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Morris has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Morris crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jones - the referee stops the clock and Morris gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jones. Morris manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Morris seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jason Jones will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Jones stuns Morris with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Morris eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Morris tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.
Morris drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Come on Morris - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

The referee is keeping an eye on Morris - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones misses with a kick to the body.
Jones throws a series of punches but Morris moves out of range.
Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Morris blocks a head kick by Jones.
A combination from Jones does no damage.

Jones throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Morris.
Jones swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Morris counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Morris.
Morris tries to pull guard but Jones won't allow it.
Morris tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jones just stands there and leans against the cage.

Morris misses with a hook to the ribs.

Morris turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Morris manages to end up in side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones tries to bench press Morris off him but Morris keeps the position.
Jones is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Morris asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Morris is putting a hurting on Jones here, landing some big shots from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones is trying to improve his position.
Morris wants to take a breather but Jones manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Morris.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing Morris from standing up.
Morris trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Morris defends it easily.
Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jones has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Morris is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Gregory Morris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jason Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Jones manages to break the clinch.
