The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Genia is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McCormick cracks Genia with an open hand slap.
McCormick on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
McCormick bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McCormick throws a low kick but it's checked well by Genia.

A countering left hand to the body from McCormick misses.
Genia throws a nice looking combination but McCormick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McCormick tries to work over Genia's front leg with a kick but Genia checks it.
Genia tries to counter by moving into the clinch but McCormick manages to circle out of the way.

McCormick doesn't manage to clinch there - Genia circles away.
It looked like Genia wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

McCormick ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Genia moves away.
Genia seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

McCormick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Genia paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Genia swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Genia counters with a stiff right hand.
McCormick displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Genia throws out the jab.

Genia lands a left and a right that send McCormick crashing to the mat, dazed. Genia thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Genia takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McCormick throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Genia sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Genia walks forward and throws a big overhand right! McCormick drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Genia swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from McCormick's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
