The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Donatello Bradman and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to land a leg kick but Wong saw it coming and moves away.
Wong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva misses with a head kick.
Silva tries to clinch but Wong is having none of it.
Silva keeps Wong at a distance using the push kick.
Silva moves into range and clinches up with Wong.
Silva tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wong avoids it.
Silva avoiding damage as Wong throws knees to the body.
Wong pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wong shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Silva looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wong shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Silva scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Wong manages to mount him!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wong lands a big shot there that rocks Silva but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
