Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Gracia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracia has chosen Cucurucucu Paloma as his entrance music. Luis Gracia will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracia looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Owen is fending him off so far but Gracia persists. Nope, Owen circles away and we're back to standing.
Luis Gracia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracia gets caught flat footed, as Owen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Gracia keeping moving, preventing Owen from controlling successfully.

Owen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gracia manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Owen has Gracia in his guard.

Owen seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Gracia would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Gracia got a little sloppy there for a moment and Owen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracia has managed to get both his arms back between Owen's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracia cracks Owen with a solid left hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracia wants to get up but he can't break Owen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Gracia is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Owen is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Gracia frees his head nicely. Oh but Owen has switched to an armbar! Gracia is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
