Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock just misses with a punch to the body.
Koshcheck scores with a nice body kick.

Koshcheck has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Rock lands a big uppercut and Koshcheck crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Koshcheck looks OK. Rock waves Koshcheck back to his feet!

and Rock counters with a nice right hand that sends Koshcheck toppling to the canvas! Koshcheck scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rock finish him?!
Koshcheck fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rock manages to avoid it.
Koshcheck ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rock moves away.
Koshcheck will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rock digs a good hook to Koshcheck's body.

Rock misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Koshcheck.

Rock cracks Koshcheck with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rock has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Koshcheck to stand back up!

Josh Koshcheck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Koshcheck takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rock just misses with a punch to the body.
Rock lands a slapping body shot.
Rock lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Rock throws a pinpoint strike between Koshcheck's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Koshcheck crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Rock scores a great knockout victory!
