Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cassidy Robbins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chester Blunt!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blunt is looking to clinch.
Blunt thows a body kick. Robbins tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Blunt doesn't manage to clinch there - Robbins circles away.
Robbins appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Blunt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Blunt rushes Robbins and presses him up against the cage.

Robbins manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Blunt must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Robbins is pulling down on Blunt's head to control his posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blunt looking to sit in guard and control but Robbins gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Robbins is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Blunt's shoulder. That is not cool.
Robbins passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Blunt!
Blunt is looking to improve his position but Robbins isn't that keen on the idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
BOOM! Robbins connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Blunt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Robbins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Robbins seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Blunt for as long as he can get away with.
We've been informed that Blunt has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Robbins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Blunt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Robbins.
Blunt throws a combination. Robbins tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Blunt doesn't manage to clinch there - Robbins circles away.
Robbins tries to counter with a takedown but Blunt is quick to defend against it.
Nice takedown defense from Blunt. No joy for Robbins on that attempt.
Cassidy Robbins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Robbins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blunt looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Blunt sneaks out the side door and pushes Robbins away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Blunt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Robbins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Robbins closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Blunt quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Robbins takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Still in half guard, Robbins seems content to control.
Cassidy Robbins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Robbins is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Robbins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Blunt can do to turn this around?
Robbins moves into full mount! Blunt won't be happy about that!

Robbins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Blunt is trying to stand.
Robbins content to control rather than advance.
Blunt takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Robbins has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Robbins jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Blunt manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Robbins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
