Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nicolas Barcos!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barcos shoots in but Randy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Randy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barcos.
Randy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Barcos gets tackled into the cage by Randy. Randy maintains the clinch.
Randy struggles to land a body shot inside as Barcos controls his hands.
Randy gets underhooks to prevent Barcos's takedown attempt.
Randy misses with a punch on the inside.
Barcos drops down looking for an ankle pick but Randy pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tessin Randy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicolas Barcos.
Randy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Randy duly obliges.
Nicolas Barcos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Barcos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Randy is trying to buck Barcos off.

Barcos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Randy is trying to escape the position but Barcos is controlling the position.
Randy takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Randy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barcos on the ground.
Barcos cracks Randy with a big elbow.

Randy is rocked!
Randy takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Oh Randy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barcos scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Randy is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Barcos can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
