Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drei Silker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Murray!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silker throws a leg kick
and Murray counters with a thumping low kick.
Silker scores with a jab to the jaw.
Murray thumps Silker with a low kick.
Murray slips a jab from Silker.
Silker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Silker keeps Murray at a distance using the push kick.
Silker throws a looping overhand right but Murray ducks down to avoid it.
Silker looks to land a body kick but Murray moved away.
Silker misses the shot to the body.
Murray feints a counter leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murray uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silker.

Murray would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Murray got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Murray has managed to get both his arms back between Silker's legs - danger averted.

Silker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Murray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Murray wanted to stand there but Silker had control of the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Silker throws a leg kick which misses Murray's front leg but catches the back leg as Murray tries to avoid it.

Murray moves into range and clinches up with Silker.
Murray swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Murray fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Murray doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Murray lands with a right to the head.
Murray misses with a punch to the body.

Silker breaks the clinch.
Silker throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Silker just misses with a punch to the body.
Silker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Murray can do to turn this around?

Murray closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Silker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Murray walks away with a smile on his face. Silker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Murray avoids the head kick by Silker.

Silker moves into the clinch.
Murray misses with a punch on the inside.
Silker jumps guard but Murray turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Murray's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Murray swings wildly with an uppercut but Silker uses good head movement to avoid it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Murray creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Lee Murray seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Silker successfully pulls guard.

Silker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Murray doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Murray manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Murray wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Silker's closed guard. He's half up but Silker has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Silker pivots and extends the arm, Murray falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Silker! Well done that man!
