Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Muldoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darwin Cars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cars has chosen Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Muldoon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Muldoon wants to stand but Cars has his arm trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cars is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Muldoon's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Cars is not content to let Muldoon control the position.
Muldoon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Cars looking for submissions off his back.
Cars holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Muldoon seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Cars is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Cars wants to sweep but Muldoon has passed to side control!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Muldoon tries to stand but Cars is controlling his head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Muldoon misses with a head kick.
Muldoon tries a head kick but it misses.
Cars gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Muldoon counters with a shoot takedown. Cars fights it but they end up in guard.

Cars is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cars is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Muldoon wanted to stand there but Cars had control of the position.

Cars isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Muldoon stacks Cars on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Muldoon!
Cars looks gassed!

Cars wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Muldoon has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Cars's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Cars is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Muldoon!
