Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Myron Cardenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hindajet Tanushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanushi lands with a nice body punch.
Cardenas avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tanushi shoots in and drives through. Cardenas sprawls well.
Tanushi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cardenas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Cardenas throws a leg kick
and Tanushi counters with a three punch combo that has Cardenas backing up. Cardenas nods at Tanushi to acknowledge the strikes.
Nice shot lands for Cardenas.
Tanushi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cardenas is looking for a counter combo.
Myron Cardenas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hindajet Tanushi.
Tanushi thows a left - swing and a miss!
Tanushi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cardenas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tanushi closes the distance and clinches up with Cardenas, looking for a takedown. Tanushi pushes Cardenas against the cage but Cardenas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cardenas really is a fat lump.

Sloppy strikes from Tanushi. Those never looked like landing.
Hindajet Tanushi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tanushi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cardenas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tanushi throws a body punch but Cardenas moves out of range.
Cardenas throws out a loose jab but Tanushi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tanushi tries to counter by closing the distance.

Tanushi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Cardenas pulls guard.
Tanushi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Cardenas is pulling down on Tanushi's head. It's preventing any offense from Tanushi, at least for the moment.
Cardenas doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Tanushi won't allow Cardenas to sweep him here.

Cardenas lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Tanushi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cardenas defends it easily.
Cardenas postures up in Tanushi's guard and throws a big left but Tanushi blocks it.
Tanushi wants to stand and escape but Cardenas is having none of it.
Cardenas is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Cardenas postures up and lands a big shot to Tanushi's brow.
Cardenas content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Cardenas is looking to work some ground and pound but Tanushi has wrist control.

Cardenas decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Cardenas will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Tanushi misses with a body kick.
Cardenas swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Tanushi tries for a takedown but Cardenas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cardenas looks for the body kick but Tanushi saw that one coming.
Tanushi drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Cardenas defends it well.
Tanushi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Tanushi slips under a jab.
Tanushi is looking to land body kicks.
Tanushi closes the distance but Cardenas moves to the side
and Cardenas counters with a nice uppercut.

Cardenas scores with a takedown into Tanushi's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tanushi is on top in guard.

Cardenas has his feet on Tanushi's thighs here. He's pushed Tanushi off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Tanushi screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
