Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Einar Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamapi Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamapi Chan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yamapi Chan!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lee is stalling here. Chan is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lee seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Chan has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lee is trying to control Chan's posture but Chan avoids it.

Chan wanted to stand there but Lee had control of the position.

Lee is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Chan can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Lee wants to finish this one by submission but Chan is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lee.
Lee has control of Chan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Chan regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Chan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Chan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lee but great work by Chan.
Chan wants to stand but Lee has his arm trapped.

Chan tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
Lee shoots in and drives through. Chan sprawls well.

and Lee decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chan's guard.
Lee is standing up over Chan. Chan looks to escape but Lee dives into side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
