Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomez has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Maximus Meridius has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Meridius. Gomez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gomez looks winded!

Meridius clinches up with Gomez and pushes him back against the cage.
Gomez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Meridius doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Meridius turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Meridius manages to end up in side control.

Meridius looks up at the clock and then as Gomez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Meridius smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

An intense looking Maximus Meridius took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Are you entertained? Are you not entertained?!?!?'.
In defeat, Tito Gomez stepped up to the mic, saying 'I am just initiating my career. Remember my name! I will be a top fighter in the near future!'.
